Introducing the HV-1 Transaxle from Weddle Industries. 4 Speed H pattern transaxle.
Economical transaxle with a "real reverse". utilizes the proven 10" Weddle ring and pinion to 4 forward gears and a full size reverse gear. Over 2 years of development and 3D CAD and 30 years of industry insight have culminated on the the HV-1, the forst completely in-house transaxle from Weddle Industries.
* Cast LM25 aluminum housings heat treated to T6 condition and stainless shot blasted after casting.
* Billet aluminum side covers
* Heat treated and ground pinion bearing collar
* Hydratic slave cylinder included, flat of convex face throwout bearing available.
* Helical cut drive gears for maximum strength.
* Wide selection of gear ratios
* Optional internal oil sprayer
* Solid linkage or cable shifter available.
* 9" Weddle high performance clutch packages available for many popular engines
* Full size reverse gear
* Industry proven Weddle Klingelnberg Palloid 10" ring and pinion
* Spiral bevel ring and pinion reduces fritionals losses, can be run in mid or rear engine configuration
* Bronze load bolt prevents ring gear displacement
* 2" narrower than a VW BUS trans
* Innovative structural design provides extra groind clearance
* 300M input shaft.
HV-1 is short for Hybrid Vanagon version 1.
Rated for 400 HP or 400 LBS of torque.
They are 100% Weddle and are based on the 094 Vanagon BUS BOX with a Weddle 10" Ring and Pinion. They mount the same as a 2D and E Box.
